Also, do take sometime to read up the basic forum policies, so as not to violate them. Ignorance of such rules is NOT an excuse to flout them.

Ok. After knowing what TY is, the first thing we would like YOU to know is that ......

1. We do NOT tolerate spamming.

2. 'Thanks for sharing' replies in the Music section will also be banned. Read more about it further down.

3. Leechers are NOT welcomed.

4. Post in the right sections.

5. Do not double post

6. Do not post irrelevant stuff.

7. Lastly, TY acknowledges contributors.

Answer to first question, credits are just the 'amount' of contribution you have gave this forum. Be it a small post for discussing in coffeebean, or sharing a story, or helping out in the computer section or even sharing a special event you come across, you will gain credits for each 'contribution' you make to the forum.

Answer to 2nd question, simple, 2 reasons.

1. It determines your contribution level. 2. More credits would give access to much better sections of the forum where you can find some goodies =D.

So how can you contribute ? Many ways !

1. The media section which includes music, videos, software, and games. 2. You can also share a thing or 2 you know about computers in expertise discussion, as well as arts and culture. 3. Any interesting links, news or videos, do post at Linkies section !

There are basically a few methods in which you could increase your credits with every post that you post up. For normal posting to threads, normally you'll get 1 credit for every reply u post.

So HOW?

The method to get more credits is to share.

You can do so by being active and post interesting discussion threads.

That is to set up new threads for people to discuss and to give their views, and credits will be given by moderators if they think that the thread topic is interesting and valuable and not nonsense.

However that is not applicable to nonsensical threads for people who desperately want to gain credits and start setting up many threads.

Other ways, you can give your individual valuable opinions instead of just replying with "thanks for sharing", give feedbacks/ comments which are constructive.

And you may even post stories which you think are interesting, entertaining and informative and wish to share with everyone in the forum. They may come in the form of flash, mp3, jokes, stories, poems, any format is welcomed.

The main purpose is to share in Ty and the moderators would be gladly to REWARD you with credits.

To add on to this, a new thread starting a new discussion gains you 1 credit.

Credits are used as a measurement of your contribution to TY.

Actually, it's the difference between your credits and post count. The Hms will be using the ratio of your credits divided by post count to determine your contribution level in the forum.

Copper, silver and gold will be the currency used in Tianyuan. Every credit you earn, regardless of contribution, thread or post, will gain you a Copper. On top of that, there will be a simple referreral system whereby you get 5 Copper for recommending Tianyuan to your friends. Something additional to note, 100 copper = 1 silver, and 100 silver = 1 gold. Why is this important ? It's because your future usage in MDC [Media Download Centre] will require you to pay. So if there is no contribution, there is no money, hence you cannot gain any perks.

Seeds are just like moderators. They just ensure peace in the forum, and can rate your posts. As long as you make sure your posts don't violate any of the rules above, you should be safe. Good posts will be rated by the moderators as well, so do watch out for that 'good' sign. [Basically a thumbs up sign] They also keep the forum in order, moderate threads, provide assistance to members shall they need it, promote activity in forum and to contribute in Tianyuan. On top of the seeds are the SeedMasters who are the 'leaders' of the seeds of each section, and at the throne we have the 2 Admins or Gardenmasters, buckl3 and Atlas.
